I’m Cody Brooks, a veteran and first responder working in EMS. Photography has been a part of my life for more than 15 years, giving me the chance to capture the beauty, emotion, and real moments that make life special
Photography has always been more than a profession for me — it’s a way to connect with people and capture the stories that make life meaningful. I specialize in lifestyle portraits and weddings, focusing on real emotions and natural interactions rather than posed perfection.
Originally from Newnan, Georgia, I now call Florida home, where I find endless inspiration in the beauty of our Gulf Coast sunsets and the peaceful landscapes of Myakka. I’m based in Manatee County, Florida, and happily serve clients throughout the state. I frequently work in the Sarasota and Bradenton areas and know many beautiful locations and venues perfect for photography. If you need help choosing a setting, I’m always happy to recommend spots that fit your vision.
How would you describe your photography style?
My photography style blends natural landscapes and authentic emotion to create timeless, storytelling imagery. I love incorporating the beauty of the outdoors — from coastal sunsets to open fields and oak-lined paths — as a natural backdrop that enhances the genuine connections and emotions of each moment. Yes! Engagement and pre-wedding sessions are a beautiful way to get comfortable in front of the camera and capture your love story before the big day.
How many photos will we receive, and delivered?
You’ll receive a curated collection of fully edited, high-resolution images in a private online gallery — ready to view, share, and download.
How far in advance should we book you?
Weddings and elopements are often booked 6–12 months in advance. For smaller sessions, a few weeks’ notice is usually enough, but the sooner, the better.
Do you offer custom packages?
Absolutely. Every love story is unique, so I’m happy to tailor a package that fits your needs and vision.
